Kendine has bir kokusu olan kaliteli m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 hayvanlar taraf\u0131ndan i\u015ftahla t\u00fcketilir. Kaliteli bir m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131n\u0131n fiziksel incelemesinde ilk g\u00f6zlenen, el ile al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda ele yap\u0131\u015fmamas\u0131d\u0131r. Kayganl\u0131k \u00f6zelli\u011fi ta\u015f\u0131yan, yap\u0131\u015fkan silajlar arzu edilmeyen fermentasyon (sekonder fermentasyon) sonucu olu\u015fan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck kaliteli silajlard\u0131r. Bu t\u00fcr silajlar hayvan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131na zararl\u0131 oldu\u011fundan kesinlikle hayvan t\u00fcketimine sunulmamal\u0131d\u0131r. Silo a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra silaj\u0131n al\u0131nmas\u0131 i\u015flemleri silaj\u0131n b\u00fct\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc bozmayacak \u015fekilde olmal\u0131d\u0131r. M\u00fcmk\u00fcnse bu i\u015flemler \u00f6zel ara\u00e7 ve gere\u00e7lerle yap\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r. Al\u0131mlar g\u00fcnl\u00fck olmal\u0131, m\u00fcmk\u00fcn oldu\u011fu kadar dar bir alandan silaj al\u0131nmal\u0131 ve bir sonraki al\u0131ma kadar silo dikkatli bir \u015fekilde kapat\u0131lmal\u0131d\u0131r. Organik maddenin ve ham proteinin sindirilme derecesi yakla\u015f\u0131k olarak s\u0131ras\u0131yla %66-72 ve %54-68 dolaylar\u0131ndad\u0131r. Bir silaj\u0131n besin de\u011feri silaj\u0131 yap\u0131lan bitkinin, kuru madde ve besin maddeleri i\u00e7eri\u011fine, e\u011fer birden fazla yem bitkisinden olu\u015fan kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m silaj\u0131 ise kar\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131 olu\u015fturan t\u00fcrlere ve t\u00fcrlerin oran\u0131na g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fir. M\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 enerji bak\u0131m\u0131ndan zengin, protein, kalsiyum, fosfor ve k\u00fck\u00fcrt bak\u0131m\u0131ndan fakirdir. Yetersiz besin maddeleri g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcne al\u0131nmak ko\u015fuluyla m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 tek kaba yem kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak kullan\u0131labilir. B\u00f6yle bir uygulamada kullan\u0131lacak konsantre yemin besin maddeleri i\u00e7eri\u011fi eksiklikleri giderecek d\u00fczeyde olmal\u0131d\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle d\u00fcvelerde eksiklikleri giderilmek \u015fart\u0131yla tek kaba yem kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak ba\u015far\u0131yla kullan\u0131labilir. Ancak enerji bak\u0131m\u0131ndan zengin oldu\u011fundan fazla verildi\u011finde d\u00fcvelerde ya\u011flanmaya sebep olabilir. \u00c7ok ince k\u0131y\u0131lm\u0131\u015f m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 yeterli partik\u00fcl b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc sa\u011flayamad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan, s\u00fct ineklerinde s\u00fct ya\u011f\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fc\u015fmesine sebep olabilir. Baklagil kuru otlar\u0131 ile birlikte kullan\u0131m\u0131 ile bir taraftan b\u00f6yle bir olumsuzluk \u00f6nlenebilirken, di\u011fer taraftan da m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131n\u0131n yetersiz oldu\u011fu besin maddelerince (protein, kalsiyum,vitamin gibi) rasyonun dengelenmesine de katk\u0131 sa\u011flanm\u0131\u015f olur. Yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131n\u0131n yonca kuru otu ile birlikte verilmesinin, tek ba\u015f\u0131na verilmesine g\u00f6re s\u00fct verimini art\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koymu\u015ftur. S\u00fct ineklerinde rasyon kaba yemi laktasyonun ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131nda 1\/3 m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 + 2\/3 baklagil kuru otu, laktasyonun ortas\u0131 ve sonunda 2\/3 m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 + 1\/3 baklagil kuru otu \u015feklinde olu\u015fturulabilir. Kurudaki ineklere 1\/2 m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 + 1\/2 baklagil olmayan kuru otlar\u0131 i\u00e7eren, 1 ya\u015f\u0131ndaki d\u00fcvelere ise 1\/2 m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 + \u00bd baklagil ve di\u011fer kuru otlardan olu\u015fan kaba yemler verilebilir. \u00d6zellikle s\u00fct ineklerinde protein gereksiniminin y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu laktasyonun ilk d\u00f6neminde, su bak\u0131m\u0131ndan zengin olan silajlar yem t\u00fcketimini s\u0131n\u0131rlayabilece\u011finden, m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131n\u0131n baklagillerle birlikte verilmesi \u00f6nemlidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130klim \u00f6zellikleri, toprak kalitesi ve sulama ko\u015fullar\u0131na g\u00f6re b\u00fcy\u00fck farkl\u0131l\u0131klar olmakla birlikte m\u0131s\u0131r ekimi yap\u0131lan her dekardan 4-7 ton ye\u015fil yem al\u0131nabilmektedir. Kullan\u0131lan m\u0131s\u0131r materyalinin kuru madde oran\u0131 ve s\u0131k\u0131\u015ft\u0131rma d\u00fczeyine g\u00f6re de\u011fi\u015fmekle birlikte 1 m\u00b3&#8217;l\u00fck silo alan\u0131na 650-800 kg (ortalama 700 kg) m\u0131s\u0131r silaj\u0131 depolanabilmektedir.
